House Concert LA TOUR May/June 2024

There’s a house in the Mount Washington/Glassell Park region of LA that plays host to some of the best jazz concerts in LA. Alvas Showroom LA TOUR May/June 2024

Alvas Showroom in San Pedro is designed to spoil musicians. Pulling double duty as a dance studio, this attractive, modern, and intimate performance space has played host to some of the greatest musicians from around the country, indeed, the globe. It’s been a long time since I headlined there, and it’s one of the first LA area venues as which I played under my own name, so it’s befitting that it should be the venue at which I close out the tour. Josh Nelson piano, Jake Leckie bass, Kevin van den Elzen drums.

Music Depot in Rogers Arkansas

The midwest has a vibe and a soul that is undeniable, and it’s flowing through my artistry like the cool water of an Ozarkan stream. Can’t wait to see how it manifests at The Music Depot in Rogers AR. It’s not the first performance I’ve done in Northwest Arkansas and I hope it won’t be the last. Mitch Bell gtr, Edwin Garcia bass, Dave Bowen drums.

The Grape in Ventura 04/12/24

I’m so excited about this gig and the band that I’ve assembled. Not only do I consider all of them to be friends of mine, but they are absolutely fantastic musicians. I can’t wait to hear how they play my music. Also, The Grape is one of the top 5 dedicated jazz clubs with-in a one hundred mile radius of LA.

Nick Mancini Collective House Concert

This is sure to be a special evening. The first floor of the home at which the concert is taking place is built for performances. Boasting comfortable seating for 60 and a wet bar, it’s like a scene straight out of an Audrey Hepburn movie.

I’ll be joined by my complete 9-piece collective. These guys have been playing my music for years now and I know that there is nothing I can put in front of them that will slow them down. Ferocious sight-readers and sensitive improvisers, this group can go literally anywhere, musically speaking.

Also joining us will be special guests, Adrianne Duncan on piano/vocals and Cathy Segal Garcia on vocals.

Nick Mancini Collective at The Grape in Ventura

I’m so excited to return to this awesome venue in Ventura. Josh and Adam have taken this place from a rather modest single room serving home made wine to a 5 star live jazz venue that hosts the greatest acts. I always feel spoiled when I play there. The owners love musicians and the audience is always appreciative and engaged.

This night I’ll be with my long time cohort consisting of Danny Janklow on sax, Adam Ratner on Guitar, Mike Ragonese on piano, Cooper Appelt on bass, and James Yoshizawa on drums.
